Cookie Policy
The handful of cookies this site sets, and what each one is for.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on your next request. Without them, a website cannot tell that the person loading page two is the same person who logged in on page one.
2. The cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in, carries the anti-forgery token that protects your forms, and holds any coupon you applied | Until you close the browser, or after a period of inactivity | Strictly necessary |
| Cart cookie | Remembers what is in your Store cart before you log in, so it is still there when you come back | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
Both are first-party, both are marked HttpOnly and SameSite where the
browser supports it, and both are sent only over HTTPS in production.
3. What we don't use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No cross-site tracking, and no data sold to data brokers
- No third-party analytics or social media pixels
- No fingerprinting for marketing purposes
We do log IP addresses and device types server-side for security and content-protection reasons. That is described in the Privacy Policy and does not involve cookies.
4. Third-party cookies you may encounter
Some parts of the site load resources from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Razorpay — during checkout, to run the payment window securely
- Google Drive — when a video or PDF lesson plays inside its embedded player
- Google Fonts — when typography loads
We do not control these and cannot switch them off on their behalf.
5. Managing cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Be aware that blocking our session cookie will stop you from logging in at all, and blocking the cart cookie will empty your cart on every page load — both are strictly necessary for the site to function, so there is nothing to opt out of without breaking it.
6. Changes
If we ever add a cookie, this page is updated before it goes live, and if it is not strictly necessary we will ask for your consent first.
